Brazil is the largest producer of soybeans in the world, with a production of 127 million tons in 2022. The area of soybean cultivation in Brazil is over 38 million hectares, mainly concentrated in the states of Mato Grosso, Paraná and Goias.

Brazilian soybean exports account for more than 40% of global exports and are a major supplier to major soybean importers such as China and the EU.
